"We were looking for help to redesign and spruce up the interior of our home. We had worked with local designers here in Hawaii but wanted to try something new. We found YC Style + Design on the internet. Initially, we were very hesitant to work with someone on a "long distance" project. WE wanted a designer who would spend the time to get to know us - who we are, what we like, our family's needs and lifestyle - not just apply a tried-and-true formula. Yau did just that, asking thoughtful questions about what we liked and didn't like, and what works and what doesn't in our home. She took the time to understand our style preferences to identify the full potential of our home.
